Amajuba District Hockey

At the recent trials held at St Dominic’s on the 7^th of March and the 9^th of March, 9  Newcastle Senior Primary School learners were chosen to represent Amajuba District at the KZN Inland trials on the 23^rd of April 2023 in Pietermaritzburg.

• U12 Girls: Tswanelo Mohomane and Nehana Devisingh.
• U12 Boys: Kayden Bentley and Relarn Mahadeo.
• U13 Girls: Tiyana Kemp.
• U13 Boys: Mvelo Cele, Junior Khumalo, Siyamthanda Sithole and Bongamusa Cele.

Zainab Moola took part in the U14 trials at Ferrum High School on the 15^th of February 2023. She then represented Amajuba District at the Country District trials on the 5^th of March 2023 where she was selected as a non-traveling reserve. Congratulations to all the hockey players. We are proud of you.
