National Public Speaking Success! On Saturday, 20 September, Rand Park High School learners proudly represented Gauteng (and Rand Park!) in the National Finals of the South African Literacy Association’s Public Speaking Competition.

• Grade 12s submitted pre-recorded speeches, while Grades 8–11 took part live via Google Meet – and our learners truly shone!
• Zachary Koch (Grade 12) was named the National Winner in the Grade 12 Home Language category.
• Seyriah Mokola (Grade 9) also took first place, making her the National Winner in the Grade 9 Home Language category.
• Kayla Mujeni (Grade 9) earned an impressive joint second place in the same category.
