Hailing from Newcastle High School and later completing his secondary education at Ligbron HTS, Mr Mabaso’s journey into education has been marked by a commitment to empowering young minds. Holding a qualification in System Development and currently pursuing his PGCE in teaching, he brings a unique blend of technical knowledge and pedagogical expertise to the classroom.

For the past seven years, Mr Mabaso has served as an educator at Ferrum High School, where his impact extended far beyond the confines of the traditional classroom. Known for his passion for rugby, Mr Mabaso’s coaching prowess has elevated Ferrum’s rugby teams to new heights, showcasing his ability to inspire excellence both on and off the field.

At Volksrust High School, Mr Mabaso will be teaching EMS and Business Studies, areas where his dynamic teaching style and real-world experience will undoubtedly benefit our students. Additionally, his proven success in rugby coaching has sparked excitement among our school community, as we anticipate improvements and achievements in our own rugby teams under his guidance.
