Middelburg Primary School performed well  at Top Schools Gala 2023. Amelia Deiner, Meline Luck, Nio de Lira, Tshiamo Mlangeni, Hunter Harty, Thandolwethu Dlamini and Mbuso Mabuza participated in the annual Top Schools Gala that was held at Curro in Nelspruit on 28 October 2023.

For the three junior swimmers it was their first attendance to a gala of this magnitude. They gave their best and made us proud. The senior swimmers also did well. Hunter received a 3rd place for the 200m IM boys 11 years. Mbuso competed in the boys 13-14 years category and placed 1st in the 200m IM, 3rd in the 50m breaststroke and 3rd in the 50m butterfly. From the 17 schools that participated, MPS placed 8th. Well done to these swimmers!
