Mandela Day in the St Charles College Junior Primary

In the spirit of celebrating Mandela Day, the boys in the Junior Primary made peanut butter sandwiches for children less fortunate than themselves. These packaged sandwiches, along with fruit and biscuits were delivered to children’s homes in need, in our area. Mandela Day is founded on the principle that if we all give a little bit of our time to have a positive effect on the life of someone else, then we can change the world for the better. Our boys were excited to demonstrate how small acts of kindness have the ability to make a huge impact on our community. – Mrs Lauren Riley (Head of Junior Primary)
