On Friday the 11th March 2022, Lady Grey Arts Academy hosted a teacher’s showcase called “The Masked – This too Shall Pass”, where the teachers of Lady Grey Arts Academy had a chance to show the community what makes the school so special. LGAA would like to thank Mr Bunch and his crew for the amazing show.

Josephine van Zyl wrote the following letter to express her feelings after watching the performance:
“How do you put it into words, how privileged the students at the Lady Grey Arts Academy are.
We once again realised, while watching tonight’s production, with these talented educators it is no wonder. There is no end to their capabilities, they are all born artists, each one in his/her own right.
They make you laugh; they make you cry,
They put you on the edge of your chair in anticipation of what is going to happen next.
Then you sit back and enjoy the sweet sounds which are being brought to you through instruments or vocals.
You are being transported by music and dance, word and mime.
But it does not end there. Artworks that reach out to you, which bring you to a standstill. They reach into your soul and move you. A fashion show, with “glam & glitter” so true to the designer.
It was an excellent production. My wish for you is acknowledgement and that somewhere someone will reach out to the school and assist you to lift it up to bigger and greater heights.
The main goal being to assist the young students who have the privilege to study at the Lady Grey Arts Academy, to fulfil their dreams under the mentorship of this determined, talented and dedicated team of educators.
I wish to convey my congratulations to Mrs Prinsloo and her team for an outstanding evening.
Trust me if you weren’t there, you have missed out big time.”
