La Rochelle Girls’ High School is proud to have once again been invited to the prestigious NSC Awards Ceremony at Leeuwenhof on 29 January 2025. We celebrate the outstanding achievements of two matric learners from the Class of 2025, Nina Voigt and Megan Jansen. Nina received the award for Subject Excellence after achieving the highest mark in the Western Cape for Engineering Graphics and Design with an exceptional 99%. Megan was honoured with an award for Excellence Despite Barriers to Learning. Megan, who has been blind since birth, achieved an extraordinary six distinctions in the NSC examinations — a true testament to her perseverance and dedication.
The school was further recognised for maintaining a consistent 100% pass rate over five years and was ranked among the Top 20 schools in the Western Cape, securing an impressive 14th place. We congratulate our remarkable learners and dedicated staff on these achievements. En Avant — go forward!
