Jacaranda International celebrates Mandela Day by feeding the community

On Thursday, 18 July, the staff and learners of Jacaranda International came together to honour Nelson Mandela’s legacy by giving back to the local community of The Reeds, Centurion. In celebration of Mandela Day, they distributed warm soup, fresh fruit, bread, and various canned goods.The spirit of Ubuntu was truly alive as both learners and teachers assisted in personally handing out food items.One of the school’s long-time suppliers, Field Fresh, also played a pivotal role with a generous donation of 80 litres of hearty soup, along with a variety of fruit to nourish the community.Managing Director of Jacaranda International, Ilana Kruyt, shared her heartfelt gratitude:
“We are deeply thankful to our parents for their overwhelming generosity. Their donations reflect the true essence of Ubuntu.
