Hudson Park High School is incredibly fortunate to be able to play rugby at a level where we can compete with the local colleges. Our season was one of mixed fortunes – losing to Selborne and Queens but our crowning glory for this season, was beating Dale College at ‘the graveyard’, as it’s affectionately known, 17-14. Dale had beaten Selborne there the week before, 36-31. This victory was the highlight of our 1^st XV rugby season. Congratulations must go to Mr Lwazi Zangqa and his 1^st XV coaches and team for this incredible achievement, one that will be remembered by all members of the team, particularly the Grade 12 members in their final season for the team.
