Glenwood House 2024 Top 10 Matrics

On 13 January 2025, Glenwood House proudly celebrated the release of the 2024 IEB matric results, marking yet another year of academic excellence and hard work. The school achieved a 100% pass rate, with an impressive 96% of students attaining a Bachelor’s Degree pass and 4% achieving a Diploma pass. Out of the 67 matriculants, Glenwood House produced an extraordinary 152 distinctions, averaging 2.31 distinctions per candidate. Principal Mr Desmond Zeelie shared his heartfelt congratulations, stating: “Congratulations to the outstanding Glenwood House matriculants! Your wonderful results, 152 distinctions across the group, with an average of 2.31 distinctions, and two students achieving a full house, are truly commendable. Special kudos to two outstanding scholars (Anne-Louise Coertze and Gabriel van der Westhuizen) with an average of 90% and above. A heartfelt appreciation to every dedicated staff member for their invaluable contributions. Well done!”

The results were highlighted by two students achieving a full house of 7 distinctions:

  • Anne-Louise Coertze
  • Gabriel van der Westhuizen

Both scholars excelled with averages above 90%, setting a gold standard of achievement for their peers.

Both scholars excelled with averages above 90%, setting a gold standard of achievement for their peers. Additionally, the following students showcased their academic prowess:

  • 6 distinctions: Samantha Bellew, Danika Wiese, Benjamin Grobbelaar, Nicolas Very, and Hannah de Kock.
  • 5 distinctions: Mire de Waal, Paige English, Carmi Lewis, Abigail Powell, and Wido Rudolph
