Our Grade 9 learners recently enjoyed a camp filled with unforgettable experiences, laughter, and learning at the Zululand Yacht Club. From stand-up paddle boarding and surfing, to cycling, kayaking, deep sea fishing, sailing, skateboarding, and even a sunset cruise, every activity was an adventure waiting to be discovered. They also had the opportunity to tour the NSRI base, gaining valuable insight into the vital role of sea rescue in our community.
The purpose of this camp was to expose our learners to the exciting activities available to them in our local area, opportunities that many may never have experienced before. And what a joy it was to watch them embrace each new challenge, grow in confidence and create memories that will last a lifetime. At Felixton College, we believe in learning beyond the classroom, building character, encouraging teamwork and celebrating the beauty of our surroundings.
