Congratulations to the following Elkanah House dancers who were selected to perform at the Cecchetti Society Major Ballet Awards event this past weekend. The highest achievers in the Western Cape are invited to dance at the Major Award each year, which is a long-established event intended to encourage dance quality and demonstrate the high standard of training in the Cecchetti Method.

Advanced 1 Exam

• Amy Trennery (Grade 12) who completed her Advanced-1 exam with a Distinction for her final exam
• Daniela Adir (Grade 11) who completed her Advanced-1 exam achieving a Distinction for her final exam

Intermediate Exam

• Keira Lock (Grade 8 ) who completed her Intermediate exam achieving a Distinction for her final exam and was awarded the runner-up prize in the Intermediate section.
