Durban North College  are extremely proud of Xander McCarthy in grade 10 who has received his South African Colours in Bass Angling. Xander was part of the SA team in the fishing test against Zimbabwe at Wrigglesway dam, East London. Although the SA junior team did not win the competition Xander did win an individual prize for being the top angler in the competition.

Xander is currently sponsored by Strike King SA which is affiliated to Fish on Africa and also Fishing Fean apparel. Well done on this amazing achievement Xander we are so proud of you.
