Dr Richard Haywood, the award-winning educational leader from Total Education, spent two days training Wembley College staff about ‘how-to’ make quality education happen. He is a management and leadership consultant who has spent many years in education. His course is based on the five pillars of a quality school: Values, Leadership, Improvement planning, Communication and Techniques and Tools. Richard believes, “Schools have undoubtedly benefitted by using Total Quality Education. Not every day will be easy on the Quality journey. There’ll be bumps and hiccups. Be focused! Persevere!”

Dr Haywood has spent over forty years in education as a teacher and headmaster. His course brings enormous benefits to teachers in the education sector who tend to understand education from the inside of the organisation.  His course allows educators to look outwards at a bigger picture.
