Curro Thatchfield Presidents Announced

Curro Thatchfield High School proudly announced the election of its new Learner Leadership Council (LLC) for the 2024/2025 term during a prestigious prize-giving ceremony held on 10 December 2024. The council will be led by president Naledi Lekopa, with vice presidents Ngawo Kom and Tshegofatso Masubelele supporting the leadership team.Mr Justin Choveaux, Executive Head of Curro Thatchfield Independent School, highlights the significance of leadership within the school community. He says, ‘Leadership at Curro Thatchfield is about inspiring excellence, fostering responsibility, and cultivating a sense of community. We are incredibly proud of our LLC members, and we are confident that they will lead with integrity and a strong commitment to the Curro Thatchfield values.’Mr Michael Nel, Head of High School, echoes this sentiment, adding, ‘At Curro Thatchfield, we believe in the power of student leadership to inspire positive change and shape the future of our school. The newly elected LLC members have the opportunity to make a lasting impact and demonstrate the true meaning of leadership by acting with purpose and conviction.’The LLC members are expected to play a pivotal role in enhancing the school environment and promoting learner engagement throughout the academic year.
