Curro Somerset West proudly celebrates Tristan Smith (Grade 9), whose dedication and talent have seen him rise through the ranks of competitive swimming. Starting at the Western Cape Aquatics B Champs, Tristan quickly proved his potential, progressing to the South African National Swimming Level 3 Gala and the Western Cape Aquatics Short Course Championship. His most recent success came at the Cape Town Aquatics A-Championship, where Tristan delivered an outstanding performance:

• 50m Breaststroke – Gold
• 100m Breaststroke – Gold with a new personal best
• 200m Breaststroke – Gold
• 200m Medley Relay – Bronze
