Creston College surfers Blake Longhurst (Grade 4), Jessica Stott (Grade 5), Emma Thompson (Grade 5) and Amber Longhurst (Grade 6) were all selected to represent the Ugu District at the 2022 Sea Harvest KZN Grommet Games which were held from 26-– 27 March 2022. The contest was held at Durban, Dairy Beach.

Both Jessica and Emma did well for competing in this major contest and they reached the Semi-Final round. Emma placed fifth and Jessica tenth overall. We are so proud of Amber and Blake as they only started their surfing career 7 months ago. While at the Grom Games they even got to meet Jordy Smith, a professional surfer representing SA in the World Championships.
