Celebrating World Read Aloud Day at St Catherine’s School, we believe that reading, and reading aloud, should happen every day. Reading helps build imagination, language, confidence, and a lifelong love of learning, while reading aloud strengthens listening and comprehension skills.
To celebrate World Read Aloud Day, our Foundation Phase learners enjoyed special story time with our Grade 7s, who shared a variety of wonderful stories. Our Pre-Primary learners enjoyed a visit from our Matric learners, who read some of their favourite stories aloud.
