On Monday 22 April, 13 members of the Interact Society and Go.com (Christian Union) from Cannons Creek Independent School visited SOS Children’s Village (Thornton). Here, they treated around 80 children to a fun Easter Egg hunt – spreading the joy of Easter. The High School collected over 1800 Easter Eggs. “This Monday was such a wonderful day! I got to be part of the Easter Egg hunt we organised for the kids at the SOS Children’s Village, and it was a success. The staff were incredibly welcoming. Watching the kids dash around in search of their treasures made every bit of effort worth it. The enthusiasm in the air was infectious! All in all, the Easter Egg hunt was a fantastic success, and I can’t wait for more chances to bring joy to the kids at the Village.” – Sophia Stamatiadis, Grade 11.  “It was fun! It was cool seeing all the kids be so excited about the Easter Eggs.” – Daniel Wise, Grade 11.
