Congratulations to the budding artists at Cannons Creek Primary School! Due to time constraints, the school was only able to enter six artworks this year for the Eisteddfod, but they all did very well – 3 Highest Honours, and 3 Gold Diplomas. “I am so proud of their consistent efforts and enthusiasm to maintain the high standard we always achieve.” – Mrs Traviss, Art Teacher.
“The Cape Town Eisteddfod was established in 1903. It is the most recognized festival in Cape Town and runs every year showcasing talent in five separate categories – Visual Arts, Dancing, Speech and Drama, Music and Creative Writing.” The aim at the Eisteddfod is to promote local art and culture, inspiring people of all ages to learn, progress and pursue their talents in the Arts.
