Aristea Primary’s Term 1 sport highlights: Congratulations to Aristea Primary School athletes, Njabulo Abe and Aiden Michaels has been chosen to represent the Metro East District for long jump in the District Championships. Njabulo jumped a distance of 5, 1 meters on his first attempt and won a GOLD medal. He will represent the Western Province at the Western Cape Primary School’s Championship on 12 March. Well done guys, you make Aristea PROUD!!

The Aristea Fun Run took place on the 3^rd of March. Back on the calender for the first time since COVID hit. We had more than 200 entries from all ages participating in the new route through Bonnie Brae. Thank you to our main sponsor Ribbens Office National! We had so much fun, we might even have another fun run later in the year!

One of our Gr. R learners, Daniel Fourie, competed in a karate competition during the weekend.

• Boys 6 – 7 years: 1 Gold 1 Silver
• Boys 10 – 11 years: 1 Silver

He also made the Western Cape team who will be competing in the SA School Championships in May. Well done Daniel, you make Aristea PROUD!!
