Congratulations to Jacques van der Merwe on winning the BSI Premier Division 18-hole medal with a 2-under 70 at Royal Johannesburg & Kensington GC – East Course on Friday 5 May. Jacques has now won seven of the 13 BSI medal tournaments this year, including a 72-hole competition and elevates his Order of Merit points to 71 909.  Can anyone catch Jacques?

External Tournament Results & News: Wanderers Golf Club Champs – Wanderers Golf Club (6 & 7 May 2023). Congratulations to Eric Ncube on winning both the Men’s and Junior Club Championships at Wanderers GC with scores of 73 and 71. In doing so Eric successfully defended his Junior Champ title from last year and added the big prize.  Great going Eric.

Nobuhle Dlamini Junior Golf Tournament – Ezulwini Golf Club, Eswatini (29 April 2023). Huge Shout Out to Mongi Masuku in winning the Nobuhle Dlamini Junior Golf Tournament played at the Ezulwini Golf Club, Eswatini. This is Mongi’s second big tournament win in as many months in Eswatini and we wish him many more in his homeland and also across the border into South Africa and beyond.

Huddle Park GC Club Champs – Huddle Park Golf Course (6 & 7 May 2023). Well done to BSI client, Kayle Turner, who is coached by Karl Lehmacher, in winning the Junior Division Club Championships at Huddle Park GC. Kayle has shown some great form with a few Top 5 finishes in recent events. Keep it going Kayle and Karl!
