“The Wembley College paddlers took on the upper Umgeni River on Sunday for the Lighthouse Ozzie Gladwin, 28km canoe race. Extremely hot weather conditions in the valley with high water levels river, made it a challenging and exciting race.  Callum Hull and his partner were placed 13th in the Mixed Doubles.  Claire Pieterse and Tamara Sneyd were placed 17th in the women’s section. Claire took the accolade for being the youngest paddler on the river.”
