Elle Glasspoole, a Grade 11 pupil at The Wykeham Collegiate participated in the South African Championships of Performing Arts (SACOPA), which was held in Rustenburg from 20 to 29 September 2024. Elle was awarded her KwaZulu-Natal Colours and managed to place in all six of her categories, two of which were Instrumental. Elle competed in the 16-17 Age Category for Classical and Contemporary Instrumental sections, where she placed 2nd with a Silver Medal for her two flute pieces.

She also placed in Modelling Sections, 16 -17 Age Category: Photographic – Bronze Medal, Pageantry – Bronze Medal, Petite Runway Casual Wear – Bronze Medal, Petite Formal Wear – Gold Medal. Elle has been selected for Team South Africa, to compete at the 28th Annual World Championships of Performing Arts in Los Angeles in July 2025.
