Thursday, 25 July, the Swellendam High School bus departed early in the morning at 07:30. The bus was filled with eager grade 12 and grade 11 English Home Language students. After a few hours of singing and chatting they arrived at The Artscape Theatre in Cape Town. It was an astonishing performance filled with passion and talent. The current rendition of this age-old play was outstanding and well-worth the journey. After the show they got something to nibble on and the chat and laughter continued. This was a heartfelt experience and indeed one to remember!
