At the annual Karate S.A. Award Ceremony, Mignon van Zyl (Grade 11) received her Senior Protea Certificate and a trophy in recognition of the bronze medal she won at an international tournament in June 2024. Mignon also won a silver medal at the National Championship (U.21 Ladies Kumite).
