Pietermaritzburg Girls’ High School matric class of 2023 results

The Class of 2023 has achieved excellent results in the NSC Examinations. A culmination of five years of dedicated teaching and hard work has resulted in a 98.6% pass rate with 91% of these girls receiving a Bachelors Pass and 419 subject distinctions achieved. Congratulations on your outstanding results, girls. You have done yourselves, your families and GHS proud.  Our top achievers for 2023 were:

  • 7 Distinctions: Joanna Bruni, Zaakirah Edris, Keziah Marion
  • 6 Distinctions: Kiara Baijnath, Zia Cassim, Sthabiso Dlamini, Shivalya Govender, Aphiwe Madondo, Sarah Meyer, Angelina Pillay, Leandra Pillay, Minae Reddy, Thato Setlogelo, Unathi Thabede
  • 5 Distinctions: Jaime Govender, Kelsi Hewitt, Taylor Horne, Zamazindela Malinga
