New Head at Helm of Curro Century City Preschool

South Africa’s leading independent school group Curro Holdings is delighted to announce the appointment of Noeline Viviers as the new Head of Preschool at Curro Century City, Cape Town. Originally from Pretoria, Gauteng, Viviers brings a unique perspective to her role, with nearly a decade’s worth of teaching experience under her belt. Her journey with Curro started in November 2019 as a Grade 1 teacher at Curro Soshanguve in Pretoria, followed by a role as Curriculum Manager then later became the Phase Head. Her decision to join Curro stems from a shared philosophy of education that emphasises individualistic teaching and cutting-edge technology.
“As teachers, what we do is more than just a job. It is a responsibility, answering a calling and possessing a passion-fuelled desire to excel and leave a legacy that transcends one’s career,” she comments while expressing her excitement about joining the school. In her new role, Viviers looks forward to meeting new families, collaborating with innovative teachers, and leveraging her experience to strengthen the school’s sense of community. She recognises the special relationship Curro Century City has within its neighbourhood and aims to blend her expertise with the existing community spirit, solidifying the school’s position as an institution of choice.

Her strong vision for the school aligns with Curro’s commitment to a 21st-century education and she emphasises the importance of play as a serious learning mechanism. “Through play, young learners ignite their love for learning and ensure it continues throughout the academic journey. Learning through play provides an excellent educational foundation, preparing learners with essential skills as they progress to Grade R,” she adds.
