Samir Dookie (A Block – Tatham) was selected nationally, as one of nine young musicians who will perform with the Pretoria Symphony Orchestra, on Sunday, 5 March at the Afriforum Theatre at the Pro Arten School for the Arts. Samir is one of only two pianists at the concert and will perform the second movement of Rachmaninoff’s second piano concerto at the concert. This is a remarkable achievement and great honour for Samir!

The Michaelhouse Jazz Band performed at the Midlands Old Boys’ Branch’s cocktail evening which was hosted at Fordoun’s Chapel. The programme consisted of traditional Jazz, Kwela, Mbaqanga, and Hip Hop.
