Zaia Mahadev in Grade 2 at Creston College has successfully completed and received certification for Basic App Development and Core Concepts of Programming from an Indian Based Online School called Purple Tutor Academy last year. The course she completed was created by Alumini from Indian Institutes of Technology (IIT), Indian Institutes of Management (IIM), Carnegie Mellon and Amazon.

She has worked diligently since July 2021 to complete this course and she has since developed a few apps. Two of which are available for download at Google PlayStore. Some of the Apps she developed:- a functional calculator app, a smart camera app, a doodle app and a reading app.

Zaia is continuing her studies with Purple Tutor and is now learning about Game Design, Artificial Intelligence and Machine Development and Advanced App Development.

Her parents are extremely proud of Zaia’s dedication to her Coding. She did all this while doing her school work, her music lessons and horse riding. They are also extremely proud of her 2021 Conquesta Results. She received Platinum (100%) for both English and Mathematics – the only one in Grade 1 to receive this.

Her parents commend Ms Lourens for giving their Zaia a rock-solid foundation during last year.
