In the St Michael’s School for Girls classroom. Our Matric Physical Sciences learners were treated to a motivational talk and captivating ‘magic’ show by Dr. Mart-Mari Biggs Duvenhage and Prof Liza Coetsee from the University of the Free State’s Physics Department. They shared the importance of the subject and encouraged active participation, especially from young women. The highlight? A Physics demonstration featuring the optical illusion frog ‘Padda’! Special thanks to Mr. Tengey for joining them, and best of luck to our Matrics on their 2024 Physical Sciences journey.
