The St Andrew’s College Hockey Club played several outstanding matches against Woodridge last Friday. The fixture was characterized by exceptional teamwork and skillful performances across the age groups. The St Andrew’s boys can be proud of their efforts as well as the exemplary sportsmanship displayed on the day.

1st Team report:
The St Andrew’s College 1st XI hockey side found themselves a goal down early in the game due to a lackluster start to the match against Woodridge. However, St Andrew’s played their way back into the game and improved with each quarter. Their resilience and determination was eventually rewarded with an excellent team goal finished by Mark Ter Morshuizen. Early in the final quarter, Woodridge hit back with another goal, taking the lead once more. The St Andrew’s players dominated play and continually pushed forward, equalizing with just a few minutes to play. Neither team could find the winning goal and the breathtaking match concluded 2-2.
