On Monday, September 2, 2024, the corridors of Edenglen High School were filled with a vibrant display of colours as learners proudly showcased their achievements beyond the classroom. The school’s talented students, who have represented the district, province, and even the nation in various sporting disciplines, wore their hard-earned colours with immense pride. Among the notable athletes were hockey stars Thando Dira, Dexter Matsangaise, and Carson Mujajati, who have distinguished themselves on the field. Soccer sensation Sean Masimbi also proudly flaunted his colours, a testament to his skills and dedication.

The school’s artistic talents were also on display. Cassandra Mtimba, a talented drum majorette, represented the school with grace and precision. Gymnastics prodigy Zoe Cloud’s colours were a symbol of her flexibility, strength, and dedication to her sport. Even the teaching staff joined in the celebration. Mrs. Van Jaarsveld, a dedicated athletics coach, wore her colours with pride, inspiring her students to reach for new heights. The display of colours was a powerful reminder of the school’s commitment to nu rturing well-rounded individuals who excel not only academically but also in various  extracurr icular activities. It is a testament to the hard work, dedication, and talent of the learners and the support they receive from their teachers and families.
