Dundee HS learners in America on Academic Tour: A few Dundee High School learners travelled to America during the October holiday in order to explore some of the infamous international educational institutions that America has to offer.  They visited Harvard, MIT, Yale as well as Princeton University. DHS head girl, Zandisiwe Maphalala, mentioned that they received lectures from educated professionals with various PHDs from Columbia University and she commented that it was an absolutely memorable and inspirational experience.  They have been using the opportunity to network with many people from all over the world.  Despite the huge time difference, these learners have been able to actively travel to many iconic places like the White House, The Statue of Liberty, The Empire State Building, Time Square and many more.  Not only was this tour an eye-opener, but also a strong motivation to be better and This American adventure will surely resonate with these learners for many years to come.
