Crawford International Sandton Preparatory star student, Mishayla Meyer (Grade 6), participated in the South African edition of the STARPOWER INTERNATIONAL Talent competition which took place at Nelson Mandela Theatre from 27-28 April.

She achieved the following results:

• 5 Star Premier and 1st place for Acro/Gymnastics, Age 11, Level 2
• 5 Star Premier and 1st place for Musical Theatre, Age 11, Level 2
• 5 Star Premier for Contemporary Age 11, Level 2
• 5 Star Premier and special award for Lyrical duet, Age 11, Level 2

Her acro/gymnastics solo achieved the third highest score overall in the age 9-11, level 2 category across all the competitive genres. Mishayla also received a special invite and scholarship from the panel of international judges to be part of the Power Pack, an “invitation only” week-long programme taking place at one of two locations, either Ocean City, Maryland or Orlando, Florida in the US taking place in July, which she can opt to defer and attend next year.
