Our Crawford International La Lucia Preparatory Grade 1’s had a very insightful presentation by KZN Blind and Deaf Society, titled “Talk Sign”. The presenters shared a little around hearing impairment and how to properly look after our ears cleanliness. Our little ones also learned how to sign a few letters and symbols as well as the all important “Please”, “Thank you”, and “Sorry”. We are thrilled that they were able to have this exposure and to learn how to be more inclusive. They all received keepsakes of the full sign alphabet to take home so that they can keep learning.
