On 9 May, Cannons Creek Pre-Primary learners were delighted to share their classrooms and playground with their moms / guardians in honour of it being Mother’s Day on Sunday.
- “Zak was super excited to show me the toys in the classroom, how he could climb the jungle gym, ride all the bikes and play construction worker in the construction worker corner. I loved seeing how happy and proud he is of his school and witness his participation in morning prayers. What a lovely opportunity for kids to show their special person around and for you to be a fly on the wall.” – Lynette Bester, parent.
- “I had the sweetest Mother’s Day treat in my son’s Grade R class today! His little message melted my heart, and playing puzzles together made it even more special. These are the moments I’ll always cherish!” – Stannie Oliphant, parent.
- “I loved spending time with my daughter in her classroom. It was so special to interact with her and she loved getting to show me around. Parting was such sweet sorrow.” – Terri Theys, parent.
- “For me the Mother’s Day celebration at school is the highlight of the school year. I love being able to spend time with my little one in her classroom and witness the wonderful things they can do and have created.” – Melissa Webb, parent.
- “What a special Mother’s Day morning! I felt so loved and spoiled. So much effort went into making the morning such a happy one for us – thank you!” – Camilla Shadwell, parent.
- “It was such a cute event. The kids absolutely loved it! (So did the moms) Mila couldn’t wait to get me into the classroom and show me EVERYTHING! Thanks for a lovely morning Cannons!” – Ricki-lee Ball, parent.
