Bredasdorp High School MaDFun Dancers is going to Los Vegas! The MaDFun Dance Creative 2 group, consisting of 7 BD’s, have been selected for the Championships of Performing Arts SA Team who will go on to compete in the 2026 World Championships of Performing Arts taking place in Las Vegas.

Details of South African Championship of Performing Arts (SACOPA):
All 9 South African provinces plus Namibia competed in the SACOPA, the teams competed for one week for a spot in the SA Team. In total there were 8000 items of all disciplines of performing arts, consisting of 1500 participants, but only the top 3 items per category received a medal. The MaDFun Dance Creative 2 group are the only representatives from the Overberg region that have been selected for the international team.

FLTR: Kayla O’Ehley,Tamarin Konstabel,Jöagen Olivier, San-Mari Rossouw, Simóne Rossouw (coach), Jodi Olivier, Ciara Konstabel, Erin Salo and Kyla Louw.

Collectively the group were awarded 4 Bronze, 2 Silver, 1 Gold medal and Jodi Olivier received the trophy for the Best Overall Achiever in the instrumental female category. Team SA 2026 will be competing in June 2026 in Las Vegas, United States of America.
