Established in 1976, the Benoni High School Pipe Band is the only South African band to have won at the World Championships in Scotland. Despite challenges like losing experienced members, the band has excelled thanks to community support and dedication. Success is credited to hard work, teamwork, and the perseverance of members, tutors, and management. Through performances, the band continues to showcase talent and receive community support, leaving a lasting impact in the world of pipe bands.
