Dylan Calvert, a 10-year-old athlete from Kraaifontein, has made headlines with his outstanding performances at the recent Western Cape Primary Schools Championships. Representing Bellville Athletics Club and Meridian Pinehurst, Dylan clinched gold in the boys Under-10 80m and 100m sprints, breaking the provincial record for the U10 80m sprint with a remarkable time of 10.73 seconds. Dylan now sets his sights on the South African Primary Schools Championships, where he will represent the Western Cape in Limpopo later this month.
