Starting Term 4 off with a bang! Congratulations to our A’ Marimba Band who participated in the South African Schools’ Band Association (SASBA) music competition held in Pretoria. Our band performed at an incredible standard winning the Primary Schools Section, as well as the award for the Marimba Band with the most Musicality! This outstanding effort and achievement means that for the first time in Westville Senior Marimba history, our band members receive National Colors from SASBA! A special thank you to Mr Swart for all the hard work, energy and time he has put into our Marimba programme to help us reach this amazing level. And a huge thank you to Mr Oosthuyzen for his hard work & dedication to our Cultural Programme.
