Wembley College Scholars Achieve Top Cambridge Awards in the World and SA

Wembley College in Greytown is proud of its scholars who were listed in the ‘Outstanding Cambridge Learner Awards’ for their 2021 exams. The top achiever results were released last week. These awards recognise exceptional learning achievement in Cambridge exams around the world.
After producing a fantastic set of 2021 results, a number of Wembley scholars featured in the ‘Top in the World’ and ‘Top in South Africa’ Achievement categories for their AS and IGCSE June and November exam series. Congratulations to the following scholars and their teachers who have achieved these exceptional results.
Form 6 scholar, Brent Bown achieved the ‘Top in the World’ mark for his AS Level Information Technology (IT). Emma Swanepoel in Form 6 achieved the ‘Top in South Africa’ mark for AS Level Business Studies and AS Level Geography. Emma was also awarded ‘High Achievement’ for her AS Level English General exam. Bonga Kubheka in Form 4 achieved the ‘Top in South Africa’ mark for his IGCSE Isizulu as a Second Language.
The Executive Head of Wembley College, Lizet van der Walt said, “These awards are an acknowledgement of our students’ commitment and dedication to excellence and shows their ability and motivation to achieve. We also celebrate our excellent teachers whose dedication has enabled this kind of success.”
