On Friday, January 24th, despite tough weather conditions, Volkies shone at the athletics event in Standerton!  Our athletes gave their all and came out on top! A huge congratulations to the following learners who received prestigious awards:

• Angela Brefo – Best Junior Girls Short Distance Athlete for her outstanding performances in the 100 m and 200 m.
• Asanda Ngwenya – Best Junior Boys Middle- and Long-Distance Athlete for his incredible achievements in the 800 m and 1500 m.
• Philani Twala – Best Senior Middle- and Long-Distance Athlete for dominating the 800 m, 1500 m, and 3000 m.

We are SO proud of all our athletes for their hard work and determination!  Keep shining, Volkies!
