St Andrew’s College hosted Sophia Young Stars and Makana Youth Football Academy in some local football fixtures this weekend. All the teams played exceptionally well, and the matches were intensely contested. The Sophia and Makana teams played with a great amount of flair and creativity while the College boys remained disciplined and committed to their structures. It was especially heart-warming to see the U14 teams play their first football matches for College. The boys played with skill, passion, and accuracy. The future of College football looks bright indeed.

The results were as follows:

  • 1sts St Andrew’s 2 – 1 Sophia Young Stars
  • St Andrew’s 2nds 0 – 4 Makana Youth Football Academy U19
  • St Andrew’s U16B 2 – 1 Sophia Young Stars U15B
  • U15A St Andrew’s 2 – 1 Sophia Young Stars
  • St Andrew’s U15B 0 – 2 St Andrew’s U16B
  • U14A St Andrew’s 2 – 1 Sophia Young Stars
  • U14B St Andrew’s 3 – 1 Sophia Young Stars

Thank you to everyone who made a wonderful day of football possible.
