Today was filled with unforgettable moments for both our Junior and Senior groups on the Reddam House Durbanville Japan Tour. The Junior Group spent the day immersed in the buzz of Shibuya District, navigating Tokyo’s efficient public transport, and exploring the wonders of science and innovation at the Museum of Natural Science and Technology. We even celebrated two birthdays, Samuel Allen and Zena Pick, right in the heart of Tokyo! The Senior Group journeyed to Hiroshima on the legendary Shinkansen (bullet train), an experience in itself. The visit offered a powerful moment of reflection, as students explored a city shaped by history, yet defined by its resilience and message of peace. Days like this remind us why travel matters. It is not just about the sights, it is about stepping into new perspectives, learning through experience, and making connections that last far beyond the trip.
