28 April – 1 May: Merrifield U16 Hockey teams travelled to Knysna to take part in the Oakhill hockey tour. Results: Boys: Merrifield vs Reddam 1-3 loss; vs Somerset 1-5 loss; vs Kingswood 4-1 win; vs Outeniqua 0-1 loss; vs Oakhill 1-1 draw. Girls: Merrifield vs Somerset 0-5 loss; vs St Cyprians 1-0 win; vs Reddam 1-2 loss; vs Pearson 0-2 loss; vs Kingswood 1-2 loss.

Squash

• 25 April: Merrifield College Squash 1^st team vs Grens: 2-1 win.

Soccer

• 22 April: Merrifield 1^st team soccer vs George Randell: Merrifield lost 2-0.
• 25 April: Merrifield U9 soccer vs Redwood College, Merrifield won 2-0.
• 26 April: Merrifield Junior College vs Centre of Excellence: Merrifield lost 2-4.
• 28 April: Merrifield U13 vs Buffalo Flats: Merrifield lost 2-0.
• 28 April: Merrifield U11 vs Abbotsford: Merrifield won 5-1.

Tennis

• 26 April: U15 Tennis girls vs Stirling, Merrifield lost 5-1.
• 30 April: Congratulations to Grade 2 student Cassia Schlimper who placed first in her age category at the Rainbow Kidz Match Mania tournament held at Clarendon High.

Netball
