Merrifield College swimmers excel in sweltering Oudtshoorn

Five Merrifield students were selected to represent Border at the Eden Inter-Districts Prestige Gala in Oudtshoorn on the 15th January 2022. The swimmers competed against Cape Town Aquatics, Eden Aquatics and Nelson Mandela Bay Aquatics. It was a scorching hot 42 degrees sunny day and the swimmers had to dig deep to cope in the extreme heat.

Blake Brown, Adam Brown, Bryce Buret, Madison Goliath and Cooper Goliath swam hard and produced excellent results. This is an exciting start to the new year! Results in Detail:
