What can the school and parents expect from your team this year at the derby against Grey High?

It will no doubt be a thrilling game with two big packs of forwards going head-to-head in a contest which will ultimately be decided by which teams pack of forwards gets the upper hand.

Where is your strength as a team?

This group has proven to be a tenacious bunch and have shown good character in the tight encounters this year.

What is the most difficult part of coaching a school team?

Controlling outside influence has become more and more of a challenge and having schoolboys that are committed to various other spheres of school life is a task to balance.

Why in your opinion, does school rugby get more competitive each year?

There are more resources these days for schoolboy rugby than in any other sport and schools are realizing that if their rugby programme does well, it is one of the biggest advertising tools for the school.
