Graeme College swimmer competed at the SA Regional Level 2 Gala held in Oudtshoorn. With over 1000 swimmers competing from all over the Eastern and Western Cape, with prelims held for each event in the mornings and finals for the top 8 qualifiers held at night, this is a very demanding gala. Except for an unlucky DQ in the 100m freestyle, Ben qualified for the final for every single event he competed in. Ben placed 4th for the 50m backstroke, the 200m freestyle, the 200m IM and the 50m freestyle. He placed 2nd in the 50m butterfly.
