Gala season is in full swing and St Benedict School in Pinetown hosted their. Championship Intermediate Phase gala for Grade 4 – 7 learners on Friday. The weather was ideal and the gala was competitive but also lots of fun. The gala was well-supported and both parents and pupils enthusiastically cheered on the swimmers. Sibusiso Mbatha (Gr 7) claimed the title of Senior Victor Ludorum and the Junior trophy was shared by Awande Xolo and Wandile Langa (both Gr 5). The trophy for the Senior Victrix Ludorum went to Aalia Naidoo (Gr 7), with the Junior trophy going to Leeiah Jagger in Gr 4.
